Necro MM Ancestor's Splinter build

Hi here is a high damage MM build we (our friend Quon Star) ran which worked very well in Rragar's HM dungeon. Feel free to post variations:

N/Rt
Death: 16 (12+1+3)
Soul Reaping: 9 (8+1)
Channeling: 10

Skills:
Animate Flesh Golem
Animate Bone Minions
Death Nova
Putrid Flesh
Blood of the Master
Ancestor's Rage
Splinter Weapon
Death Pact Sig (optional skill slot)

Usage: Once minions settle on aggro pick one and cast death nova then putrid flesh on it to cause damage and conditions to surrounding enemies, then use splinter weapon and ancestor's rage as much as possible on other minions, the more balled up the aggro is the more damage this build will cause. Have fun

Ive seen similar builds to this as well. There are some very good rit MM skills out there.

Did you have a human necro running this build or a hero?

Yeah, just interested to see if it works as a hero build as well . I guess I can test during some easy vanqs and report back.

I used a variation of quon's build as an extra hero in a mainly ursan norn HM farm group. Seemed to mow thru fairly well. Olias casts splinter preferentially over the other weapon spell. In SAB's 3 necro hero team, the secondary on the mm is monk prot which works fairly well for a hero (except for the PS when you are dying after battle).

Does the hero usually cast splinter on a minion or player? I'm wondering if they'd use splinter on a wanding caster >.<
