NEED new Guild Banner

Hi everyone

As u noticed since Aisha removed everything Lu is trying to make a new look for the forum.

And we need your help!
I noticed already that there are some skilled designers in this guild, so we ask you guys to make a Banner for our guild forum to come on top of the page instead of "phpBB, creating communities..."

I say post ur banners in this thread and in the end we'll do a voting to see who wins.

• Happy
  
• CooL
  
• Be able to change colors according to forum colors. (the colors we have now aren't permanent yet)
  
• Not bigger as the one we had before if u still remember

Ok good luck and I hope we'll see some good Banners

What are the sizes?
And do theys colors stay or are you going to change them again?

I would but i dont have the time sitting on a project atm which should be done around the 18th september.. -_-

Well if the Majority think this color in the forms is okay ( im still working on making it blend more) then i'll stick to this color when i reform it later.

And as for the size you see where it says phpBB... thats where we are gonna put the banner, we can always resize to fit you can make it a bit bigger then the auto one on forms, but we dont want anything to0 huge

maximum lenght is 800px to give you some infos for the banner, it was 200px high or 250px.

Just throwing ideas out there And if u want to have pics as ur background i got lots of nice ones that i can put up, im not good with colour co-ordination so if u decide to go with pic as bacground i'll just put them up and let u pick what ones go with the forum theme.

Manty, those are good sizes, and look at the size of the one we have now, thats perfect, i wouldn't make it higher, we don't want a banner that fills half ur screen.

If you want I could do a whole skin and graphics for the forum. Can't say I'm the greatest ever at it but I have done some phpbb forum stuff in the past.

I tried 2 different ways of making a banner with my stock but they didnt worked out good.

Could some give me a nice stock with some CooL members on in..
Like the last banner we had.

Well that last banner had officers and guild leader on it which was a nice idea, since they are the fine leaders of our guild. As for getting pictures you can always ask someone to go into an explorable area and take a photo of them (or you could do it in the guild hall or a town)

in a out post, it's of bad quality on the textures which sucks.

So it's better to get them always at the same spot, so you have the same lighning on each characters

How about this as a start? I think it would look really good with a tidal wave or a lava flow as a background.. :-) JK! xD
