Ok, the hardparts about being a frontline player are
- Knowing when it's time to fall back
Energy:Most melee players have a zealous upgrade for e-management, this sounds logic but don't forget that before you spike you need to change your weapon.
Apart from a zealous upgrade melee's often have the advantage that they only need to use skills a few times (interupting and spiking).
Tactics:The position of melee players is at the edge of the aggrobuble of the supportline (monks can still reach fairly fast) if facing a hardspike u stick to the aggrobuble of the healers.
When not in spike melee's are presure players, they atack a target to build up adrenaline and energy for a spike while atacking a soft-target (mesmers, monks, elementalists).
Movement:Since targets can be near dead warriors tend to follow them to get them down and doing so they overextend, generally if a spike fails the target will get healed quick if not the caller will tell the monks he's overextending.
Falling back:The easy reasons why to fall back are split-teams and getting owned

However in observer mode you'll notice that teams fallback while they'r winning. This is done for several reasons:
- get the other team to push in and then spiking again when the bodys are far from the normal fightingzone
- blocking foes in or out a certain area
Calling:The one thing most new callers do wrong is that they spike a monk at the start. It's better to spike another soft-target inorder to check if the infuser has good reflexes or not + it's harder to see a spike on someone else then on yourself.
Most teams spike 3times before going for a monk, this is done to get the infuser's energy lower so there's a better chance he dies when targetted.
Frenzy:Make shure another stance is ready when you'r going to use frenzy to cancel frenzy out.
When using frenzy always check if you'r within healing range, if not cancel it out.
Don't spam frenzy, frenzy happy warriors can presure the monks as hard as a mesmer.
NEVER combine frenzy with healsig unless no other foes are in sight.
