Kathandrax HM Dungeon Team Build

Hello here is a good team build for Kathandrax's Dungeon in HM:

Team Make Up:

1 Tank (Human)
2 Savannah Heat Eles (Human or Hero)
1 Water Ele (Human or Hero)
1 Spiteful Spirit Necro, or a 2nd Water Ele (Human if SS Necro, Human or Hero if Water Ele)
1 Spell Breaker Monk (Human)
1 Healers Boon Monk (Human or Hero)
1 Restoration Necro/Rt (Human or Hero)


-Tank: Most of the damage you will take in here is either fire damage or physical so set up accordingly.


-Savannah Heat Eles

-Usage: Drop Meteor Shower first then cast AoE nukes into group after it has fully aggro'd onto the tank

-Usage: it is often more useful to echo pain inverter than spiteful spirit since the fights are usually quite fast


-Water Ele

-Usage: The most important role of the water ele is to snare and interrupt the enemy group. To best do this wait until the enemy group is fully aggro'd in a tight group around the tank and then use glyph of lesser energy, deep freeze, then maelstrom. The Savannah Heat Eles should drop meteor shower at the same time so the group is snared, getting knocked down and trapped in maelstrom being damaged and interrupted. If done properly this will quickly kill the enemy group and minimize damage to your own party.


-The 2 monk builds and the Necro/Rt build can be found in my post on my favorite monk builds. I use the Spell Breaker/Bonder build for this dungeon to bond the tank vs physical damage and using spell breaker to prevent damage from enemy casters and allowing the tank to have enough time to let the aggro settle on them before the eles come in and nuke.


This team build works very well if used properly so good luck getting emerald edges and astral staves .
